Scott Midwall, M.D.
Interventional Cardiology
Dr. Scott Midwall joined the MSPB Interventional Cardiology team in 2017. He has been practicing Interventional Cardiology since 2012 and been in practice in South Florida since 2014. He is an Interventional Cardiologist who has sub-specialty training in endovascular and structural heart therapies.
Dr. Midwall was raised in South Florida and earned his B.A. in Chemistry from Cornell University. He received a Masters in Science in Anatomy at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) at MCV and then earned his medical degree from VCU at MCV in Richmond, VA in 2005. Dr. Midwall then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. He returned to VCU for his fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases.
Dr. Midwall completed his fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Cornell University / NY Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. He went on to complete an advanced fellowship in Vascular and Structural Heart Interventions at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2013. After completion of his training, he worked in private practice outside of Philadelphia for one year prior to returning to Florida.
Dr. Midwall is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular Medicine.
