Dr. Michael Lakow has been a practicing Cardiologist since 1993 and has been a member of the Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches Cardiology family since 1995. He grew up in New Rochelle, New York, completing both his undergraduate and medical school in the state but moved to Florida in 1993.

Dr. Lakow graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a bachelor’s degree in 1980. He went on to complete medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York in 1987. Dr. Lakow completed his Internship in Internal Medicine, Residency in Internal Medicine, and Cardiovascular Fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center.

Dr. Lakow has led an esteemed career as a leader in Cardiology in Palm Beach County. He was President of the Medical Staff at JFK Medical Center from 2012 to 2013 and from 2008 to 2009. Dr. Lakow is a past Chairman of the Board at JFK Medical Center from 2008 to 2013 and earned the position of Chief of Medicine at Palms West Hospital from 2008 to 2013. He was a Medical Executive Member at Wellington Regional Medical Center during the same time period.

Dr. Lakow is accepting new patients and sees patients in Atlantis, Boynton Beach, and Wellington.
