Dr. Eric Weiner is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Canada).  He enjoyed providing Primary Care support for his patients in Lake Worth, Florida from 1983 to 2023.

While born in Montreal, Canada, Dr. Weiner attended High School at the Manhattan Talmudic Academy in New York, where he received an intensive classical education.  He graduated from Yeshiva University with Honors and returned to Canada for medical school at Queens University and postgraduate training at the University of Toronto, where he was honored with the Chief Residency position in Internal Medicine at Women’s College Hospital.

Having survived one frigid winter too many, Dr. Weiner relocated to South Florida in 1983 to pursue private practice.  He cared for patients using the skills and knowledge acquired from years of handling the most challenging diagnostic dilemmas in academic medicine, balanced with compassion and pragmatism.  Along the way, his penchant for unorthodoxy resulted in additional training in Homeopathy, and to this day spends his professional time trying to protect patients from themselves, and Physicians from the complexities of the medical system. 

Dr. Weiner has been refining systems and training in value-oriented medical care delivery for over 25 years.  In 2023 he hung up his stethoscope to transition from part-time to full-time Medical Director of the Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches.

Out of the office, Dr. Weiner has been a volunteer teacher at the University of Miami School of Medicine and has provided leadership to numerous local charitable community organizations.  He considers himself incredibly fortunate to be married, and tolerated, for 34 years, and to have two wonderful adult children.
