Candelle Metzler was born in Grenada, but has been a resident of south Florida since 1990. She was inspired by her mother who was a nurse midwife and pursued a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Central Florida, graduating in 1997. After graduation she moved back to South Florida to get married and start a family. Candelle is the proud mother of two amazing children and enjoy spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, reading, tennis and running. She truly enjoys meeting people of different cultures and sharing their rich experiences. Candelle had an extensive nursing career as an intensive care nurse and completed her masters at Nova Southeastern University, graduating with honors as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She enthusiastically joins the MSPB family as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the Coral Springs office with Dr. Jonathan Perwien. She is a people person and loves interacting with her patients and family. She is passionate about preventative care and enabling patients to live happy, healthy lives to the fullest.
