About

Dr. Daniel Hekmat was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Hekmat attended college at Yeshiva University, majoring in Economics, alongside his pre-medicine studies, after which he received his M.D. from the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City. Soon after, he completed his training in Internal Medicine in Las Vegas.

Dr. Hekmat has been a physician for the past four years and is well experienced in preventative, comprehensive primary care, as well as hospital medicine. His medical interests include weight loss/obesity medicine, reversing diabetes, men’s wellness and making sure his patients are in their optimal health at all stages of life.

Dr. Hekmat met his wife, Sara, during his residency training and relocated here to Miami where she is training to become an Emergency Physician. When he is not in the office, Dr. Hekmat enjoys motorsports, cycling, cooking, traveling, and taking road trips across America. Dr. Hekmat is passionate about innovative and preventative healthcare.
